Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This policy explains what data NumGener.com (“NumGener”, “we”) processes when you use the website, why, and what choices you have. NumGener is operated from Ukraine. For any privacy question, write to [email protected].
The values you generate stay on your device
Every generator on NumGener runs in your browser. The numbers, passwords, names and other results it produces, and any text you type into a tool, are never sent to our servers, so we cannot see, log or store them.
What your browser keeps
To make the tools more convenient, your browser keeps some data in its local storage, on your device. We do not receive it:
- each tool's settings, including any text you entered, such as a list of names in the Random Picker;
- a history of recent results, in tools that have one, while you keep it switched on;
- results you save as favourites;
- your cookie choices and interface preferences, such as dark mode or which panels are open.
This data stays until you delete it. You can switch history off in the tools that have it, and clear everything at any time by deleting this site's data in your browser settings.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our web server and our hosting and network providers record technical data about each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser type and the referring page. We use these logs only to run the site, protect it from attacks and fix errors. They are kept for a limited time and are not used to identify you.
Cookies
NumGener itself does not need cookies to work: your language is part of the page address, and your preferences are kept in local storage as described above. Cookies are set by the third-party services below and, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, only after you agree to them in the consent banner:
- analytics cookies from Google Analytics, such as
_ga, to count visits and understand how the site is used; - advertising cookies from Google and its partners, to show and measure ads and, if you allow it, to personalise them.
Our network provider may also set a short-lived, strictly necessary cookie that protects the site from automated abuse. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the privacy settings link at the bottom of every page.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit NumGener, which tools and languages they use and how they find the site. When you use a generator, it records only which tool was used, never the values it produced or the text you typed. It collects data such as the pages viewed, approximate location (country and city), device and browser type, and the referring website. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses, and we see only aggregated reports that do not identify individual visitors. Analytics data is kept for no longer than 14 months. Google processes it on our behalf; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Advertising
NumGener is free, and advertising helps pay for it. When ads are shown on the site, they are provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure their performance and prevent fraud. With your consent, or where consent is not required, ads may be personalised based on your visits to this and other websites. Declining advertising cookies does not remove the ads: you will still see them, only not personalised.
You can turn off personalised ads from Google in Google's Ads Settings, and from many other ad companies at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu. How Google uses advertising data is described in Google's advertising policy.
Why we process data
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on:
- our legitimate interest in running and protecting the site, for server logs;
- your consent, for analytics and advertising cookies and for personalised ads. You can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing that took place before;
- our legitimate interest in answering you: when you email us, we use your address and message only to reply.
Where data is processed
Our hosting provider, our network provider and Google may process data in different countries, including countries outside the European Economic Area such as the United States. When data leaves the European Economic Area, these providers rely on safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
Children
NumGener is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13, or under the age of digital consent in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Most of what we process cannot be linked to you by name, so please describe what your request is about when you write to [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. When a change needs your consent, we will ask for it again.
