Why NumGener

How your results are generated

Every generator here runs in your browser. The values you generate are never sent to our servers, so we never log, store or see them. Our Privacy Policy sets out what little we do collect and why.

The randomness comes from the Web Crypto API — crypto.getRandomValues() — which uses your operating system's source of entropy rather than a predictable function such as Math.random(). Every tool that produces a random value uses it; tools that only transform text you enter, such as the Slug Generator, need no randomness at all. Our guides explain the technical details behind this.

Frequently asked questions

Are the generators free?

Yes — every generator is free. There is no paid tier and no subscription.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no registration, no email field, and nothing to fill in before you start.

Does anything I generate leave my browser?

No. Values are produced on your device and are never sent to our servers, so we could not show you your own results even if you asked. What a tool does remember — its settings, including any text you typed into it, its optional history and the favourites you save — is kept in your own browser.
